Hurricane

When I found this wool, I fell in love! I love this watercolor flower print, and this wool is so light so I had to make a flowy skirt with it! I also lined it with satin so it doesn't stick to your tights, oh ya and it has pockets. What else can you ask for, except that it also comes in green! The Hurricane skirt is 125$ and it's worn here with the School Days top 75$.

Cranberry

I've never been a big fan of the color red but lately I've been loving this cranberry color. It goes with so many things, I especially love it with nudes and peaches.

Here you have the American Night pants in red (110$) with the Take my Heart jacket (175$) . I also have the pants paired up with the new Gold Dust Woman top (55$). This top can also be worn boatneck with the scoop in the back. (my favorite way of wearing it)

Sunday Girl dress

We just got the Sunday girl in. I'm so excited I'm wearing it today! This comfortable dress is perfect for the office or school but with some pearls great for the Holidays. And it has POCKETS! (Sunday girl dress 140$)

Mainstreet Pants

I designed these pants for the SS2012 collection but I love them so much that I couldn't wait! I also thought they would be a great alternative to a maxi skirt for the Holiday season So I made them in BLACK for the shop and they're available now! (Mainstreet pant 145$)

Separates!

Mixing and matching is one of my favorite things to do, I hate having a piece of clothing in my wardrobe that only has one purpose. Here are some of my favorite separates that have recently hit the racks!

Stream line

 Some of our classics are back in stock. This season I brought back the American Night pants and our Hong Kong Garden skirt. Both are just perfect classics made in Prada Twill! Perfect to complete any wardrobe!

If you haven't tried on the American Night pants, you've never seen your ass look so good! It's like a push up bra for your behind! This season I'm offering them in 3 colors: Black, Burgundy (Like a young wine) and a heather blue.110$

The Hong Kong Garden skirt is offered in the same colors and this tight high waisted pencil skirt is a perfect staple to wear with your favorite crop tops or blouses! (80$)

Suburban War

A little bit of grunge with a touch of girly chic. This cashmere dress is a great transition piece and is probably the most waist flattering dress I've ever made! We also offer it in red gingham (175$)

Bouclés

This season is all about textures. Here are pieces that all have some kind of interesting thread in the weave of the fabric, most commonly known as a bouclé!

The Sweetest Kill dress, is made of this beautiful angora yarn. This long sleeve dress is gonna be perfect to keep you cozy as the colder nights approach. I can`t wait to wear it with a jean jacket! (we also have it in a simple black) 125$ Oh ya and there`s POCKETS!

The heartbreaker dress is made of cotton with a silk bouclé. Slipping this dress on is really something! Perfect for a fall wedding or a night out with the girls. 175$

The Harvest Moon top was ins pired by the classic 50`s sweater. It`s a drop shoulder with a lovely boatneck and a scoop in the back. 75$. The Jeanne skirt is our classic and perfect fit pencil skirt made of this viscose with a silk bouclé 120$ ( we also have it in black with red, yellow and green threads. Oh ya and the black is not shiny)

Knits and drop shoulders

So I don't want to freak you guys out by showing you some new styles, but the reality is that it's time for me to start bringing in a new collection. Just for fun we'll call it pre-fall because all of these pieces can be worn on a cool summer night. 

When I started designing this collection I knew I wanted it to look effortless without loosing the feminine shape of my pieces. I decided to start with the shoulder, I went with a drop shoulder on almost all the pieces. You will notice as I post more pieces that the sleeves never start at the proper shoulder. The other thing I did with this collection is use a lot of knits. The collection is full of texture! I can't wait to wear it and I hope you guys will like it to. I always try to outdo myself and I feel with this collection, I did!

The Boho Dance dress 165$ ( also available in a mix of purple/charcoal/black)

This is an amazing Italian stretch velvet with sequins.

  

Cherry Bomb top 65$. This cotton/poly/lurex blend mix crop top is the perfect transition piece.

  

The Dreamland top (55$) is offered in a gray wool/acrylic blend and an Italian cotton/poly blend.

It has an elastic at the hem so it can be worn long to the hips or brought up to the waist.

The Heart in a Cage dress 120$, is also an Italian Cotton/Poly blend, it's so cozy I can't even describe it!

New Top!

 We made similar tops as these before the street sale and they sold out before I could even show them off. Round 2 had now hit the racks so come in and grab one before it's too late (55$). Here it's worn with the Hong Kong garden skirt (80$) we also have the skirt in black.

Silver Soul skirt 190$. This is a perfect solution to wear to a summer wedding or cocktail as you guys know I love to offer skirts instead of dresses. It's way more versatile!

These are a couple pieces that I've added to the shop lately. I've also been adding lot's of other pieces but I don't have pictures of them! I'm having so much fun getting ready for summer that I keep wearing these dresses and always have to put a cardigan over them, well that's spring in Montreal!

Newfoundland Tack Video

About a month ago, I got an email from this guy Andy, he had this concept for a fashion video and had seen our SS2011 collection and thought it would be perfect for it. As per usual I love working with different creative people and I loved his idea! I just got the video and I'm super happy with what he did! SS2011 Campaign

Here's the campaign shoot we did for Lustre's 5 year anniversary. I love the paparazzi feel of this shoot! Hope you like it to! I want to thank my whole photo shoot team. 5 YEARS!!!

Contest!

As you all know Lustre turned 5. We're gonna be having a party on Thursday the 14 of April. During this evening we'll be launching our Spring/Summer campaign, we'll have some great music, food and drinks. I also want to create a wall of 5 years of Lustre. With this project I need your help. Linen + Chiffon = Summer

Well I know summer is far from here, but Spring is. I know the last couple of days have been kind of depressing but the warm weather should be back by the weekend. Since I've been so busy working on the FW2011 photoshoot that's happening tomorrow, Flor re-merchandised the store last night to finally bring the pieces in.
